When it comes to spam and phishing emails, having a secure email platform like Microsoft Office 365 in place is ideal as it has built in spam filtering and does a great job, however these spammers are getting more sophisticated in how they target you and have deployed new tactics to try and circumvent spam detection and fool people into believing their email is legitimate.
The key and yet all too often the weak link is the end user receiving the email. We need to teach you and your staff how to spot a fake/spoofed email as you are the last line of defense! Helpfully Google have created a wonderful quiz which asks you to decide whether the email it shows you is fake or genuine and then explains what to look for in each scenario. I strongly urge you to get everyone in your organisation to take the quiz and see how being informed and vigilant will help prevent any threats via email.
